Once You Get The COVID-19 Vaccine, Can You Still Infect Others?

But we don’t know yet if that is true of the COVID-19 vaccines, she told me. That’s because the focus of the clinical trials was narrow. It had to be because of the time constraints. Scientists wanted to know whether these things prevented illness. They wanted to know whether the drugs were safe. And they got those answers.

Person of the Year

Time Magazine has named Joe Biden and Kamala Harris jointly as their Person of the Year for 2020. In one sense, this is not a big surprise; it's the eighth straight time the winner of the U.S. Presidential election won the honor. The presidency is an influetial position, and the winner of the election can expect to be an influential person.

What If Trump Is Trying To Break the GOP?

Angry and afraid people fighting—over him—is the very top of his hierarchy of needs. It’s his version of self-actualization. And while he may be forced to give up the office of the presidency, he will not give up being at the center of this storm.

Tisquantum was a member of the Patuxet tribe of the Wampanoag Confederacy when English traders reached their land (now the state of Massachusetts) in 1614, under the command of John Smith.

Smith had previously had interactions with the Powhatan tribe near Jamestown, in what is now Virginia. Smith would later claim that, while exploring the land around Jamestown, he had been captured by Powhatan and would have been executed but for the intervention of the chief's teenaged daughter Pocahontas.

Reuniting the States

President-elect Joe Biden has called for a time of healing and has pledged to be a unifier. That's not an easy task in a nation as divided as this one, but Biden is in a position few recent president-elects have been, a position that affords him a better opportunity to achieve this goal: His party is not in full control of the Congress. Not since George H.W. Bush took office in 1988 has a president begun his first term with the Senate in the hands of the opposition party.

Trump's last-ditch US election lawsuits not going well for president, experts say

“It could be reflex. On most people, if you hit their patellar tendon with a small rubber mallet, you get a knee jerk. With Trump, it’s possible that if you hit his patellar tendon with a small rubber mallet, you get a lawsuit,” said Justin Levitt, a law professor at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
