Why I became a software engineer

It was when I came back to school that I had an epiphany. We had to go pay our school fees at the bank, which was outside the school then go back to the Finance Office for an official receipt. Then use that receipt to register for each course we are taking. At every step, you have to wait in a queue for 2–3 hours. It took 3 to 5 days to actually finish the entire registration process. As impatient as I am, I started asking myself: "Isn’t there a better way? Why do I have to provide the same information over and over and go to multiple places to complete my registration?" I started researching web development, databases, windows applications development and told myself I could build this thing.

Time to take OUR country back

But my anger is not about any given policy of the new president. No, it is about him, about the election of a fundamentally unsound, unserious and unfit man, a misogynist who brags about sexual assault, a bigot cheered to victory by the Ku Klux Klan. I have no idea how to "heal" woman hating and no desire to "come together" with the Klan.

Election Aftermath: The Value of Compassion and Reason

As Americans have enigmatically rewarded Trump for his proven disdain of minorities and women, civil liberties and scientific fact, what can we do to avoid a complete collapse of empathy, compassion—and reason—over the next four years, one which could have serious ramifications for everyone’s future?

Able Was I, Ere I Saw Oxo Crater

There are clues to what happened. If you trace the intact part of the rim around to make a complete circle, you’ll see the collapse must have started outside the crater, with a huge amount of material then sliding into the crater, possibly partially collapsing the crater wall. That shelf feature sticks into the crater like a ledge.

So obviously the object that hit Ceres to make Oxo impacted first, then the land nearby collapsed.
